HE EARLIER HAD SIMILAR TALKS IN GUANA AND NIGERIA. HE WENT STRAIGHT INTO CONFERENCE WITH THREE SENIOR MEMBERS BY THE CABINET AT THE FEDERAL ASSEMBLY. MR HARE WAS ACCOMPANIED BY LORD ALLPORT, THE UK HIGH COMMISSIONER IN SALISBURY.

    LATER, MER HARE WENT TO GOVERNMENT HOUSE FOR LUNCH WITH THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE, WHERE MR. HARE WAS SHOWN A "MOON FLOWER". THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL TOLD HIM "IF YOU SLEEP UNDER OKE OF THESE YOU WILL NEVER WAKE UP". BUT MR HARE WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT TIRED.
