Background: Evidence of a centuries-old civilization is found on a golf course, thirty miles from Montreal..... According to archeologists the fragments of pottery and cut stone date back fifteen centuries and apparently were used by a nomadic tribe..... It's believed the natives lived in central Canada long before the Iroquois Indians. Small stone anchors for fishing nets and stone arrow-heads correspond to recent finds at Cornwall, Ontario and it's believed there may be a link between them. The Quebec Archeological Association is investigating the discovery....
