TROOPS TO STOP FIGHTING AT NOON THE FOLLOWING DAY.

    AFTERWARDS, HE DROVE TO PRESIDENT BOURGUIBA'S PALACE TO RECEIVE THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE TUNISIAN LEADER. NEXT DAY, MAR 19, AMID THE CHEERS OF CROWDS CELEBRATING THE END OF THE MORE THAN SEVEN-YEARS OLD WAR BETWEEN FRENCH AN ALGERIAN NATIONALIST FORCES, M. BEN KHEDDA LEFT BY AIR FOR RABAT, MOROCCO.     IN HIS RADIO ADDRESS, M. BEN KHEDDA DESCRIBED THE CEASE-FIRE AGREEMENT AS "A GREAT VICTORY FOR THE ALGERIAN PEOPLE", BUT WARNED THAT "THE PERIOD OF THE CEASE-FIRE IS NOT THE PEACE. BECAUSE THERE IS THE DANGER THAT THE FASCIST HORDES OF THE SECRET ARMY ORGANISATION WILL INCREASE THE BLOODSHED IN THEIR FIGHT FOR A FRENCH ALGERIA". HE ACCUSED THE FRENCH CIVIL AND AUTHORITIES "TO THIS DAY" OF BEING "MORE OR LESS" ACCOMPLICES OF THE RIGHT-WING O.A.S. THE SAID TRUE PEACE COULD NEVER COME "UNTIL THE SITUATION IS ENDED".
