    Britain has agreed to convene a constitutional conference to try and set up an interim government in Rhodesia. It'll be staged somewhere in southern Africa in about a fortnight. Foreign Secretary Anthony Crosland, spoke about Britain's role int he settlement on Wednesday (29 September). Meanwhile, the Untied States Secretary of State, Dr. Henry Kissinger, has been explaining a proposed international fund which may be set up to help the whites in Rhodesia. Mr. Crosland was asked if Britain was playing more of an intermediary than before.
