    WIRKOLA LEAPT 94 AND 92.5 METRES FOR 241.2 POINTS TWICE WORLD SKI-CHAMPION, HE SHOWED THAT HE IS IN TOP FORM AGAIN THIS SEASON.

    THERE WERE EIGHTY COMPETITORS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TAKING PART. THE SECOND PLACE WENT TO ANNATOL CEKLANOVE OF THE SOVIET UNION. FRANTISEK RYDVAL OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA WAS THIRD, JUMPING 95.5 METRES AND 91 METRES TO WIN 233.8 POINTS AND VLADIMIR BELOUSOV OF THE U.S.S.R., WINNER OF THE BIG SKI-JUMP IN THE GRENOBLE WINTER OLYMPICS, FINISHED FOURTH WITH 233.6 POINTS FROM JUMPS OF 92.5 AND 90 METRES.

    THE AUSTRO-GERMAN SKI-JUMP TOURNAMENT IS HELD IN FOUR SEPARATE WINTER SPORT RESORTS IN WEST GERMANY AND AUSTRIA.
