    THE BACK-UP CREW - TOM STAFFORD, JOHN YOUNG AND EUGENE CERNAN -- HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE NUMBER ONE CREW -- WALTER SCHIRRA, DON EILSELE AND WALTER CUNNINGHAM -- THROUGHOUT THE TESTS IN AN ALTITUDE CHAMBER WHICH SIMULATES ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURES AT ORBITAL ALTITUDES. THIS OFFICIAL FILM FROM THE NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION SHOWS THE TEAMS DURING THEIR TESTS.

    SCHIRRA, EISEL AND CUNNINGHAM ARE SCHEDULED TO GO INTO ORBIT FOR 10 DAYS. THIS TEST WAS THE FINAL CHECK BEFORE THE SPACECRAFT IS TAKEN TO PAD 34 AND THE CAPE, WHERE IT WILL BE MATES FOR A SATURN IB BOOSTER ROCKET, TO UNDERGO FINAL TESTS BEFORE THE LAUNCHING.
