    Background: At the weekly cabinet session the Minister of Defence, Mr. Moshe Daran, and the Chief of Staff reviewed security matters; under this terse statement it can be assumed that the MEA plane incident was discussed. But all ministers, safe the Minister of Transport, Mr. Shimon Peres, refused to refer to the matter. In answering a question of the IBA radio reporter in Hebrew. Mr. Peres, the minister responsible inter alia for aviation, said:- "International action against terrorism should precede international criticism of Israel's actions". He also said that whilst ret the cabinet session, the Cabinet secretary will issue the official statement, as far as the incident was concerned "all necessary steps have been taken that innocent people will not come to harm and terrorists will be prevented from harming planes and airports". Dayan then left the meeting and refused to comment, before Mr. Peres continued in English and then drove off. Mr. Sherf, the Housing Minister was not approached when walking to the car and Dep. PM Allon also refused to comment. NG soundwise Allon walking away and getting into car and car driving off. PM Meir and some other ministers staid on at the office in conference.
