Background: After a 4-week cruise in the Mediterranean and the Aegean sea, Sir Winston and Lady Churchill, left Athens for London, August 4. At the airport to see him off was his close friend, ship-owner, Aristotle Onassis, who had been their host aboard his yacht "Christina".
During the cruise the yacht called at the Yugoslavian port of Split, where Sir Winston met President Tito for the first time in seven years. The rest of the party, including ballerina Margot Fonteyn, are due to continue their holiday into the Black Sea.
