A number of professional "all-in" wrestlers, most of them from Britain, have put on a series of exhibition bouts in Lusaka, Zambia. The card included such names as Terry Rudge, Johnny Saint, Jim Breaks, Dalbin Singh and Gigantic Haystack.
SYNOPSIS: A large crowd turned up to watch the contests, many seeing "all-in" wrestling for the first time. The main bout on the card was between Dalbin Singh who entered the ring from the right and Gigantic Haystack whose name aptly describes his shape and size.
Within minutes of the start of the bout, it looked as though Haystack would finish off Singh on the ropes. Some of the blows contravened every rule in the game and the referee tried to break the wrestlers but to no avail. Haystack eventually stopped pounding Singh on the ropes long enough to dash him to the floor instead.
Singh decided he wasn't going to take the trouncing from Haystack lightly. He dragged the big man into his corner and used fist, elbow, head, foot and shoulder to force him to the floor. And then he threw in a few kicks again for good measure. The contest soon became a three-cornered affair as the referee was brought into it.
Singh had a go at the referee, mainly using his head. Haystack felt he had enough so he left the ring. With the referee on the floor, there was no one to declare Singh the winner. A spectator pressed himself into service and completed the referee's task.
