    MR.NANDA FACED ANOTHER DEMONSTRATION AS HE REACHED THE GOVERNOR'S RESIDENCE FROM THE AIRPORT, BUT LATER THE DEMONSTRATORS DISPERSED PEACEFULLY.

    INDIA'S HOME MINISTER IS IN TRIVANDRUM TO PRESIDE OVER THE PARLIAMENTARY CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE ON KERALA, WHICH IS NOW UNDER FEDERAL RULE.

    (MEMBERS OF THE INDIAN COMMUNIST PARTY DEFIED A MAGISTRATE'S ORDER EARLY THIS MONTH WHEN THEY BURNED AN EFFIGY OF PRESIDENT JOHNSON AT A PUBLIC MEETING IN TRIVANDRUM.THE MEETING WAS ONE OF SEVERAL DEMONSTRATIONS HELD IN INDIAN CITIES TO PROTEST AGAINST AMERICAN ACTION IN VIETNAM.
