Captain Jibril's radical group made headlines in April, 1974, when three commandos slipped into an Israeli village and seized scores of hostages. In the ensuing battle with the Israeli army, all three commandos were killed and eighteen Israelis died. Captain Jibril said in future suicide raids with the use of aircraft means they will need only one person to carry out a mission.
