    PEANUTS HAILED ONTO THE TARMAC AT LONDON AIRPORT TODAY (MONDAY) AS THE "POP" SINGING GROUP "THE BEATLES" WALKED OUT TO A PLANE TO CARRY THEM ACROSS THE ATLANTIC TO THE BAHAMAS. THEY'RE GOING THERE TO MAKE A NEW FILM -- BUT MANY OF THE FANS WEPT AS IF THEY WERE NEVER TO RETURN.

    "THE BEATLES" -- JOHN, GEORGE, RINGO AND PAUL, ARE ACCOMPANIED BY ELEANOR BRON WHO WILL BE LEADING LADY IN THE NEW FILM. AS SHE ACCOMPANIED THE GROUP UP THE STEPS ONTO THE AIRCRAFT, MANY AN ENVIOUS EYE WATCHED FROM THE ROOF OF THE AIRPORT BUILDING.

    IT'S A SCHOOL'S HALF-TERM HOLIDAY IN BRITAIN -- AND SO THE CROWD WAS LARGER THAN IT MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE BEEN. SOME ESTIMATED THERE WERE MORE THAN A THOUSAND YOUNGSTERS AT THE AIRPORT.
