    Crown Prince Akihito and his wife, Princess Michiko, left Tokyo International Airport November 12 on a four-week goodwill tour of Afro-Asian countries including Persia, Ethiopia, India and Nepal.

    Accompanied by an eleven-member suite, the Crown Prince was bade farewell by members of the Imperial Family, Premier Ikeda, Government officials, and the Ambassadors of the countries he is due to visit.

    Among the many gifts and decorations he will present to Heads of State, is a Japanese Samurai (warrior) helmet for the newly born Crown Prince of Persia.

    First stop was Calcutta on November 12. Then to Persia for a stay from November 14 until November 22. Ethiopia from November 23 until November 27. India from November 27 until December 6, and Nepal from December 6 until December 8.
