Ten years of Independence of the Ivory Coast are mirrored in a new exhibition of photographs mounted in the Abidjan Hotel de Ville.

Minister of Information Mr. Edmond Bouazo opened the exhibition on Thursday (30 July).

The Information Ministry has chosen the photographs to give a complete picture of all aspects of Ivory Coast life and work during the past ten years of development.

The exhibition will also be mounted later in Gagnoa's Information Hall during the National Holiday Celebrations.

In Abidjan after the exhibition's inaugural visit, a colour film also on the theme of a decade of independence will be shown at the Hotel die Ville.

Made by the Ivory Coast Film Society, it is called "Ivory Coast Profile".
