    In Canada 41 people were killed when a domestic airliner crashed on Saturday (11 February) at Cranbrook airport, east of Vancouver in British Columbia. Seven people, who were seated in the tail section of the Boeing 737, survived the crash. The plane, belonging to Pacific Western Airlines, was on a flight from Calgary to Vancouver. It crashed when attempting to avoid a snowblower on the runway, as Colin Hoath, of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, reports.
