Background: In the former Noordeinde Royal at the Hague, Holland, the British Ambassador, Sir Paul Mason, and the Mayor of the Hague were present at the opening of the British Photographic Exhibition of February 12th.

Sponsored by the Photography Magazine Ltd., London, the exhibition gives the Dutch public a wide example of British photographic work with a wide variety of subjects.

Included in the display are the works of Charles E. Brown, the well-known serial photographer; some of the best press photographs of the year; a selected choice of illustrations from the Encyclopedia Britannica; studies by Eric Hoskins etc.
