    COMMENTATOR described how the 'Viking Princess' caught fire off the eastern tip of Cuba. There were 494 survivors and 2 deaths, both presumably from heart attacks. He said the film of the Viking Princess afire was shot from the deck of one of the rescue ships. There was only about 1/2 an hour between the time the fire started and the order to abandon ship. The rescue operation proceeded very smoothly. The passengers returned to Miami via the airport. The were flown in from the military base at Guantanamo, Cuba. Reunions took place in Miami, where friends and relatives were waiting. A passenger, and the captain, told reporters about the fire.
