  • Description

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammed Ali was medically pronounced as good as new on Wednesday (October 31) in New York - nine months after ending up in a hospital bed with a broken jaw after his fight with Ken Norton.

Dr. Harry Kleinman of the New York Boxing Commission declared that Ali, untypically silenced by his injury, had now no clinical sings that his jaw had over been broken and was talking as well as over.

Certainly the injury does not seem to have affected Muhammed Ali's boxing skill. In September he got revenge over Ken Norton in their return match and on October 20th in Djakarta he outclassed the Dutch title holder Rudi Lubbers. Now Ali is ready for his fight with former World Heavyweight Champion Joe Frazier, scheduled for January.
