    Background: VISNEWS cameras in Stockholm's Eriksdalshallen Feb 13 filmed some of the World's best gymnasts performing their intricate and highly skilful manoeuvre. Outstanding gymnast from Finland, Russia and Sweden met in a three nation event.

    World champion Juri Titov of Russia added yet another win to his impressive record on this his first performance before a Swedish audience. With a total of 56.85 out of a possible 60 points Titov received first prize...a suit of clothes, presented by the Russian Ambassador to Sweden.

    Second was Finnish champion Raimo Heinonen, 23 year old student from Turku. Heinonen was the best Finnish performer at last year's World Championships in Moscow. Titov won the World Championship and impressed by qualifying for 5 out of 6 finals.

    Third was Sweden's Jean Cronstedt, Stockholm's best gymnast and winner of three silver medals in the recent European Championships.
