    More than 300 motorcyclists, with their headlamps draped in black, formed a cortege through the streets of Johannesburg on Monday (26 April) at the funeral of two South African step-brothers killed by guerrillas in Rhodesia during a motorcycling holiday.

    With crash helmets and riding gauntlets placed on top of the coffins,the bodies of the two brothers were taken to the cemetery followed by a procession of motorcyclists.

    Aged 17 and 25, the two did when guerrillas opened fire on them at a roadblock as they were returning to South Africa.

    A third man, a journalist, was also killed in the incident. His body was cremated.

    Every man with a military or reserve commitment in the south-eastern region of Rhodesia where the attack took place, has been called out to hunt down the guerrillas who killed the three men.
