    The last game of the XXXIV International Golf Spanish Championship is played in Puerta de Hierro. The last stage comprises 36 holes to be played in two parts, 18 in the morning and 18 in the afternoon.

    Twenty-six aces among whom are six amateurs, compete. The English Peter Allis was from the start in advance of his more immediate competition, equalling the record formerly established by Sebastian Miguel.

    The first Spaniard classified was Angel Miguel with a difference of 11 points from the winner.

    In the final amateur trio, the Duke of Fernan Nunez was proclaimed champion.

    The British champion reached the end of the competition with a difference of 10 points over his most immediate follower. His record was of 268 points. Hail to the victor!
