    DELEGATES TO THE CONFERENCE, LED BY THE COMMITTEE'S CHAIRMAN, MR GERSHON B.O.COLLIER OF SIERRA LEONE, FLEW INTO THE TANZANIAN CAPITAL LAST SUNDAY FROM NEW YORK.

    MR COLLIER SAID ON HIS ARRIVAL THAT THE QUESTION OF COLONIALISM WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE CONFRONTING THE UNITED NATIONS, AND THE PRESENT MEETING IN DAR-ES-SALAAM, IN THE LIGHT OF THE RHODESIAN PROBLEM.

    THE CONFERENCE IS EXPECTED TO LAST A WEEK IN DAR-ES-SALAAM, AFTER WHICH DELEGATES WILL TRAVEL TO OTHER AFRICAN CAPITALS.
