This film follows the troops from their crossing of the Mekong River, near Neak Luong village, 38 miles (60 kms) east of Phnom Penh, through caddy fields around Compong Saeg, five miles (8 kms) further east, and around Takork village, half a mile (2 kms) along the road.

During their patrol the Khmer troops found two dead Vietcong, and checked the identity of about fifty soldiers who had escaped from Kompon Trabek village, five miles (8 kms) further east, when Communist troops overran the village on April 20. In the same area they met refugees and wounded civilians.

Half a mile further on lay the village of Takork. Here the force met wounded civilians and refugees from Kompon Trabek further along the Highway. They also had to check the identity of about fifty soldiers who escaped before the village was captured by the Communists.
