    CONGO (KINSHASA) AND TUNISIA THIS WEEK PLEDGED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR COMMERCIAL AND CULTURAL LINKS, FOLLOWING TALKS IN KINSHASA BETWEEN THEIR RESPECTIVE FOREIGN MINISTERS, MR, JUSTIN BOMBOKO AND M. HABIB BOURGUIBA JR. M. BOURGUIBA FLEW IN TO KINSHASA LAST SATURDAY (NOVEMBER 12) TO BEGIN AN OFFICIAL VISIT.

    THE FOREIGN MINISTERS AGREED TO REVIVE THE 1964 COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THEIR TWO COUNTRIES. A COMMISSION WILL MEET IN JANUARY FOR THIS PURPOSE. THEY ALSO SIGNED A CULTURAL AGREEMENT THAT INCLUDED PROVISIONS FOR THE EXCHANGE OF TEACHERS, RADIO AND TELEVISION PROGRAMMES AND GENERAL INFORMATION.

    A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED ON TUESDAY SAID CONGOLESE PRESIDENT JOSEPH MOBUTU WILL TUNISIA AR A DATE STILL TO BE FIXED. THE TUNISIAN FOREIGN MINISTER SAID HIS FATHER PRESIDENT HABIB BOURGUIBA, WILL PAY A VISIT TO KINSHASA IN RETURN.

    THE VISIT OF M. BOURGUIBA JR. WAS THE FIRST PAID BY A TUNISIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO KINSHASA SINCE CONGOLESE INDEPENDENCE IN 1690.
