    Ghana's Head of State Colonel Ignatius Acheampong congratulated the World Council of Churches on Tuesday (23 July) for its stand against racism and colonialism in Africa.

    Colonel Acheampong was speaking at the opening meeting of the WCC's Faith and Order Commission in the Ghanaian capital, Accra. The Commission was formed to combat racialism. Its members come from fifty countries including India, Brazil, the United States and the U.S.S.R.
