    Prime Minister Harold Wilson of Great Britain arrived in New York City the night of April 13. The morning of April 14, Wilson left the Hotel Carlyle uptown and motored to the midtown shopping section around 5th avenue and 42nd street.

    He visited several stores and made some purchases. In one men's shop he bought several shirts. In another store, he bought Easter candy. Some of the things he bought were described as Easter gifts.

    Mr. Wilson is to speak at the Economic Club dinner the night of April 14 in New York. The Prime Minister and President Johnson are scheduled to meet at the White House on April 15.
