    The newest and largest piece of sculpture in New York City looks something like a surrealistic comic strip. It stands forty-two feet high and is the work of a French painter and sculptor, Jean Dubuffet. He calls the work "Group of Trees" and says it is not meant to represent real trees, but trees in the symbolic sense, in that they reach out the way the human mind reaches out for new ideas.
