The Aircrafts arrive. Dropping has been postponed due to bad weather conditions. Due to strong wind which prevailed during day time, the paratroopers were drooped at night. Following scenes show part of the Exercise Fabulist which took part this morning at Prastio (Morphou) area.

Background: About 3,000 British troops of the Parachute late last night when 29 Fabulist Exercise. It all started late last night when 29 Paratroopers were dropped at Prastio near Morphou.
These 29 men, specialised members of the Brigade's Pathfinder platoon, were dropped from a Hastings aircraft and descended through a lightning streaked sky.
630 paratroopers dropped early in the morning from nine Beverly transporters and 15 Hastings. These men of the 2nd Para Regt. played the part of the enemy and assumed to be seizing the asbestos mines of Amiandos.
About 5,30 of the afternoon 1,000 paratroopers part of the strategic reserve was dropped at Prastio and went into action against the "aggressors".
Due to strong wind which prevail during day time,the paratroopers were drooped at night.
