    THE AMPHIBIAN, WHICH IS 13 AND A HALF FEET (4.1 METRES) LONG, CAN CARRY MORE THAN A TON OF SUPPLIES OR THE EQUIVALENT WEIGHT IN FULLY EQUIPPED TROOPS. IT USES TWO SCREW-TYPE PONTOONS FOR POWER AND FINDS THE THICKEST REEDS OR SWAMP GRASS NO OBSTACLE. AS THE OCCASION, IT CAN ALSO TRAVEL SIDEWAYS.

    IT'S POWERED BY A 225 HORSEPOWER ENGINE AND CAN OPERATE AT MAXIMUM SPEEDS FOR LONG PERIODS UNDER THE VERY ROUGHEST CONDITIONS.
