    Making a one day stopover Nov 3 after his campaign tour of California, Senator Kennedy urged the people of Arizona to vote Democratic in the Presidential elections. Addressing a street meeting in Phoenix - stronghold of Republican conservative Barry Goldwater - he hit out at the Nixon supporters who claimed to have the state "in the bag."
    Attacking 'favourite son' Goldwater, Kennedy said;
    With the election on Nov 8, Democratic candidate Kennedy shows no sign of slowing up on his gruelling campaign programme. Public polls show him to be out in front of his Republican opponent Vice-President Richard Nixon. In the last week new strength has been given to the efforts of President Eisenhower who has urged the nation to back Nixon.

    Senator Kennedy has another six states to visit states to visit before he winds up his campaign with an eve of election rally in Boston, Massachusetts, his own state.
