Background: Rumania's President Ceausescu has had a meeting in Bucharest with Libya's deputy premier, Major abdel Salam Jalloud.
The meeting took place on wednesday (8 March) and according to an official government report, the two men discussed the development of economic, political and technical relations between Rumania and Libya.
It's also reported that President Ceausescu and Major Jalloud reviewed the international situation.
Major jalloud arrived in bucharest from talks he'd been having in Moscow. The talks with Soviet leaders brought a promise from the Soviet Union to provide technical aid for the exploration for oil in Libya.
