Background: President Arturo Frondizi of Argentina and his wife received a welcome at Bonn rail statio June 27 from West German President Luebke and Chancellor Konrad Adenauer on their arrival for a four-day state visit. The Bundesregierung (Cabinet) and a Bundeswehr guard of honour also greeted the distinguished guest, while several hundred spectator waited outside the station.
The visit, mainly devoted to ceremonial occasions, will also include, it was expected, a Federal Government proposal - first raised in 1953 - to negotiate an extradition agreement for the return of former Nazis in Argentina to West Germany for trial.
Reports indicated President Frondizi would meet Prime Minister Ben-Gurion of Israel during his visit to Europe last week.
Subject: Eichmann. But without seeing him MR. Ben-Gurion returned home the day President Frondizi arrived in Bonn.
