Background: On Tuesday 21-01-1969 began in Eastberlin the 22nd meeting of the COMECON. It was also the 20th anniversary of the COMECON. Participating are following delegations: Bulgaria, Hungary, Eastgermany, Mongolia, Poland, Rumania, Soviet Union, CSSR, Yugoslavia as attached and Cuba with a observer delegation. The meeting was opened by Dr. Gerhard Weiss, as Chairman of the executive committee of Comecon, he is Deputy of the Eastgerman Chairman of Council of Ministers. There was also the festive meeting to commemorate the 20th anniversary of comecon, where the Secretary of Comecon, Nicolai Vassilevitch Faddeiev, held the speech. Later the chiefs of the delegations spoke.
