    Mr. Mahmud Ali, Pakistan's chief delegate to the United Nations, is touring the Moslem world to explain his country's position in the current conflict with India.

    On Thursday (25 November), Mr. Ali had an audience with King Hassan at the Royal Palace.

    On Friday, before flying to Algiers, the second stop on his thee-week tour, Mr. Ali said he had received wholehearted support for the Pakistan cause during his talks with Moroccan leaders. From Algeria, Mr. Ali is due to go on to Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon and Afghanistan.

    SYNOPSIS: Mr. Mahmud Ali, Pakistan's chief delegate to the United Nations, had an audience with King Hassan of Morocco on Thursday at the start of a three-week tour of Moslem countries. Mr. Ali is touring the Moslem world to explain Pakistan's position in the current conflict with India.

    After the audience, Mr. Ali said King Hassan had undertaken to call on Moslem heads of state to intervene to prevent a war between India and Pakistan. Of his talks with Moroccan leaders, Mr. Ali said he had received wholehearted support for the Pakistan cause.

    After the audience at the Royal Palace, Mr. Ali flew on to Algiers to continue his tour. He is also due to visit Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon and Afghanistan. In Algiers he said Pakistan was a victim of Indian aggression, and the situation was very bad.
