    After being sworn in for a new seven-year term as President of the Congo Democratic Republic on December 5, President Joseph Mobutu received several foreign ambassadors at his official residence at Mont Stanley, Kinshasa.

    Among the first to be received was the new Kenya ambassador, Dr. Mwabili Kisaka. In speech before presenting his credentials to President Mobutu, Dr. Kisaka passed on a message of congratulations on the President's new term of office from Kenyan President Jomo Kenyatta. The relations between the two countries, said Dr. Kisaka, were considered "excellent" by President Kenyatta.

    The U.S.S.R. Ambassador, Mr. Igor Oussatchev, was also received by President Mobutu, who told him he was satisfied with relations between the two countries.
