    Israeli Foreign Minister Eban reaffirmed on Monday, Sept. 28, his government's willingness to resume peace talks under specified conditions.

    Eban said israel would resume the talks "as soon as the violations in the ceasefire" are rectified.

    In his address to the General Assembly, Eban used a map of the Suez Canal area to indicate what he said were new Soviet surface-to-air missile positions moved into place since the ceasefire began on August 7th.

    Eban said the negotiating process would be "complex, long and arduous."
    Albanian Foreign Minister Nesti Nase declared in his speech that the time is long overdue for the Peoples Republic of China to be admitted to the U.N.

    Nase also sharply criticised the major powers and what he called "the colonial powers" for producing worldwide tensions and troubles.
