On Saturday, 19th September, at 9 A.M. President of Roumania, Mr. Nicolae Ceausescu and President of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito met each other in Jerdap - the biggest construction site of a hydro-electric and navigational project in Europe at present. The project is a joint venture of Yugoslavia and Roumania.
After a sight seeing tour of the Jerdap project the two leaders went into talks which lasted for two hours.
A number of questions were discussed at the meeting, such as the most important current problems of the international political scene: the European Security, Near and Far East, the relations among socialist countries, and some other questions.
As it has been reported, the conference took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, in which the views of the two presidents on most of these problems appeared to be identical.
