    Background: At the Foreign Press Club dinner prime minister Begin was asked what action he intends to take in the Middle East, and if he prefers Europe to keep out of Israel-Palestine conflict. Begin replied that European initiative is detrimental to the Camp David peace process - "we can never negotiate with the PLO"
    Begin was also asked what he thinks of Brezhnev's call for an international summit on Middle East. Begin replied saying that Brezhnev did not speak about ensuring the security of Israel. He was asked about the increase of American arms sales to Saudi Arabia, and replied that the Saudis are the most extremist enemy of Israel.
