    THE BRITISH SPECIAL ENVOY IN THE FAR EAST, MR. GORDON WALKER, ARRIVED IN KUALA LUMPUR, THE MALAYSIAN CAPITAL ON THURSDAY. HE WAS ON THE NEXT STAGE OF A FACT-FINDING MISSION FOR PRIME MINISTER WILSON AND A LARGE GROUP OF NEWSMEN WERE AT THE AIRPORT TO INTERVIEW HIM.

    FLYING IN ON THE SAME AIRCRAFT WAS THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA, TUN ABDUL RAZAK, ENDING A 13-NATION TOUR.

    MR. GORDON WALKER IS ON A FAR EAST TOUR FOR THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT. THE FORMER SECRETARY HAD TALKS IN KUALA LUMPUR WITH THE MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN. THEIR SUBJECTS INCLUDED THE DISPUTE WITH INDONESIA AND THE VIETNAM QUESTION.

    AFTERWARDS HE WENT ON TO SINGAPORE AND IS IN BANGKOK TODAY (SATURDAY). AFTER HIS VISIT THERE, HE WILL GO ON TO BURMA, LAOS, SOUTH VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA.

    AT A PRESS CONFERENCE AT THE AIRPORT, TUN RAZAK SAID HE ASKED LEADERS IN EAST AFRICA TO HELP MALAYSIA IN ITS UNDECLARED WAR AGAINST INDONESIA. HE ALSO SAID HE BELIEVED MALAYSIA WOULD BE SURE OF A SEAT AT THE FORTHCOMING AFRO-ASIAN CONFERENCE IN ALGIERS.
