Background: The United States Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, had a friendly meeting with the Shah of Iran on Saturday (17 May) to review their bilateral relations and the world situation.
Dr. Kissinger met the Shah at Blair House, the official residence for visiting foreign dignitaries.
The Shah, who was on a four-day visit, had earlier said he expected the price of oil to be increased in September. Speaking at a news conference he rejected suggestions that a world oil glut would force prices to drop.
