    Czechoslovakian glassware is world famous. Its peculiar beauty and craftsmanship have been features of trade exhibitions, and ornaments in all countries where people treasure beautiful things.

    The oldest school of glassware in Czechoslovakia is at Zelezny Brod. It was founded forty years ago by Professor Miroslav Klinger, who still instructs students in this very delicate art.

    Recipient this year of the Klement Gottwald State Prize, Professor Klinger is one of the rare artists who follow their creations through from design to foundry.
