    IN THE SKI JUMP EVENT NAPALKOV MADE 79.5 METRES WHILE QUECK LEAPT 78.5 METRES. MATOUS ACHIEVED 79 METRES.

    THERE WAS A CROWDED FIELD FOR THE OBERSTDORF EVENT, WHICH ALONG WITH THREE OTHERS IS LOOKED ON AS A REHEARSAL FOR THE WINTER SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS.
