It was the second such meeting in recent weeks, but details of the discussions were not available. SYNOPSIS: Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Aziz Sidky, opened a working meeting of the Arab League in Cairo, the Egyptian capital, on Monday. Senior League officials were outside the conference hall to greet him, and representatives of most of the organisation's members attended the meeting -- the second in recent weeks.
The League is an organisation including most of the Arab states, founded in 1945 to co-ordinate Arab policy and activities. Its headquarters are in Cairo.
Details of Monday's discussions were not available, and it was not confirmed that the delegates discussed last week's embassy incident in the Sudan when eight young Palestine guerrillas surrendered to the authorities after killing three diplomats.
