One of the works; Blackfriars Bridge, painted by W. Marlowe in seventeen-seventy. There are eighty-six canvasses in the showing by thirty British masters.....

    A painting by Ramsay....the Duke of Kent of that time as a child. It's one of four masterpieces loaned by the queen, who is patron of the exhibition. This is the first time a reigning monarch has filled such a capacity for a British art show in Canada....
    General Wolfe's death is depicted here by Benjamin West.......and this is a portrait by of West by Gilbert Charles Stuart, completed in seventeen-eighty-one....
