    AS THE TROOPSHIP "GENERAL LEROY ELTINGE" SAILED INTO THE VAST NATURAL HARBOUR, PARATROOPERS CROWDED ONTO THE DECK CHEERING, SINGING AND WAVING THEIR BATTLE PENNANTS. THE BRIGADE CONSISTS OF THREE INFANTRY BATTALIONS, ONE MECHANISED UNIT AND ONE ARTILLERY BATTERY.
    THE RETIRING UNITED STATES AMBASSADOR GENERAL MAXWELL TAYLOR, A WAR-TIME COMMANDER OF THE 101ST, GREETED THE TROOPS SOON AFTER THEY CAME ASHORE.
    THE PARATROOPERS WILL BOOST AMERICAN TROOPS STRENGTH IN WAR-TORN SOUTH VIETNAM TO MORE THAN 78,000. PRESIDENT JOHNSON THIS WEEK ANNOUNCED THAT THE TOTAL WORLD BE BUILT UP TO ABOUT 125,000-STRONG.
