Background: On April 20, the second day of a ten-day informal visit to the United States, Danish Prime Minister Krug met with United Nations Secretary-General U Thant at the United Nations.
Mr. Krag arrived in New York on April 19. He went to the United Nations on April 20 for a luncheon and discussions with Secretary General U Thant. Before the luncheon, Mr. Krag met and posed for photographers with the Secretary General.
The Danish Prime Minister plans to go to Washington on April 21 where he will spend two days, after which he will fly to Colorado and visit the United States Air Force Academy on Saturday, April 23. The following day he will fly to Nebraska for three days, returning to Washington on Tuesday, April 26. On Wednesday, April 27, he will hold discussions with President Lyndon Johnson at the White House.
Mr. Krag will leave the United States by way of New York April 28.
