With the Minister of Aviation, Juarez Tavora, looking on, a C-130 Hercules transport plane of the Brazilian Air Force took of for Saigon carrying medical and other supplies.
The flight was not publicized in Brazil because the U.S. position in Viet Nam is not popular with all Brazilians.
