    Background: Prince Rainier of Monaco presented the Monte Carlo Rally awards in the Place du Palais, Monaco, Jan 25. Princess Grace, formerly film star Grace Kelly, was with the Prince.

    Car No.176, a Citrosu driven by Paul Coltelloni and Claude Desrosiers overall winner of the Rally, was first to drive up to the Royal Palace. They received the 'Prince Sovereign of Monaco Cup'. Next, the Jaguar of British crew George Parkes and Geoffrey Howarth - they received the winning team award, the 'Commission of Monaco Cup'. Then came Car No.211, a Simca, driven by Andre Thomas and Jean Delliere. They were presented with the Monte Carlo Cup, having gained second place in the general classification.

    Winners of the Coupe des Dames, Pat Moss and Ann Wisdom, drove their Austin to the Palace steps to receive bou???ts and the Ladies' Cup.
