    THEY WERE FLOWN TO DENMARK FROM JAPAN AND ARE BEING TRAINED BY DANISH, SWEDISH AND NORWEGIAN HOSTESSES AND STEWARDS. NORMAL TIME FOR TRAINING IS THREE MONTHS, BUT THE JAPANESE HAVE ABSORBED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS SO QUICKLY THAT THEY SHOULD BE READY FOR FLYING DUTIES WITHIN TWO MONTHS. ALL OF THEM SPEAK ENGLISH AND FRENCH AND SOME OF THEM ALSO GERMAN.

    SAS SPENDS ABOUT GBP2/10/- ON EACH GIRL FOR EVERY HOUR'S TRAINING. THE PRESENT GROUP WERE SELECTED FROM MORE THAN 300 WHO APPLIED IN TOKYO FOR A JOB.
