    FLOURISHING TURKISH FLAGS AND BANNERS AND SINGING MARTIAL SONGS, THE CROWD CALLED FOR THE CONQUEST OF CYPRUS AND ATHENS. FIRES AND DRIMS URGED THE DEMONSTRATORS ON.

    AS TENSION MOUNTED WITH THE THREAT OF WAR QUEUES OF BLOOD DONORS GATHERED OUTSIDE HOSPITALS ALL OVER TURKEY AND RADIO AND METEREOROLOGICAL OFFICES CEASED ISSUING WEATHER REPORTS.

    TODAY (THURSDAY) UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL U THANT'S SPECIAL ENVOY FOR CYPRUS, DR. JOSE ROLZ-BENNET ARRIVED IN ROME ON HIS WAY TO ANKARA, ATHENS AND NICOSIA FOR PEACE KEEPING TALKS.
